Description – The ODOT Division of Planning is excited to announce the rollout of the enhanced Transportation Information Mapping System (TIMS).  This updated version builds upon the familiar functionality while introducing a more user-friendly interface and incorporating highly requested enhancements. TIMS remains a central resource for transportation employees, stakeholders, and the public to view, share and analyze Ohio’s transportation data using powerful web mapping tools.  Designed for both GIS experts and casual users, TIMS enables the creation of high-quality maps and provides access to 100+ transportation related datasets.

Join us for a hands-on Training session focused on the latest features and improvements in TIMS.  These sessions will cover key updates, workflow enhancements, and best practices for efficiently generating and communicating results.

Who Should Attend? – Local agency employees (county, city, village, township), MPO personnel, consultants, and FHWA and ODOT staff.

Instructors – Each class will typically be taught by one of the following ODOT employees (depending on the class date and location): Katy Lewis or Stephen Hale.

Registration Information – Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. There is no fee to attend; however, participants must pre-register.  Any registrant requiring a reasonable accommodation during training (i.e., mobility or access) should contact Ohio LTAP prior to the course date so the appropriate arrangements can be made. Note: this abbreviated training class does not qualify as an elective or other course credit under the LTAP Roads Scholar training recognition program (however, Roads Scholar participants are still welcome to attend).

Promo Code Information

The promo codes below apply to specific groups of class participants.  Please ONLY use a code if it applies to you.  If you are not certain if it applies, please contact the Ohio LTAP Center at ltap@dot.ohio.gov or 614-387-7359 or 1-877-800-0031.  Do not randomly select a promo code and use it.  Your registration will be reviewed by the center registrar and cancelled if you have used a code which did not apply to you.

FHWAOHDIV - Code to be used by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Division Staff only when registering for LTAP courses.  Provides the FHWA LTAP discount on the course price.

ODOTEMPL - Code that must be used by ALL ODOT employees when registering for a course. Do not enter payment information or request an invoice.  If you are an ODOT employee, you MUST use this code unless the class is a NHI self-pay course.  See below.

PAYBYCHECK - ODOT EMPLOYEE ATTENDING A NHI-SELF-PAY COURSE - Use code PAYBYCHECK if you are an ODOT employee.  Then enter your Divison, Cost Center and SAC number in the designated field on the registration form.

PAYBYCHECK - This code should be entered when you want the Ohio LTAP Center to bill you for the course fee instead of paying immediately online via credit card.  Once your registration is completed with this code, an invoice for the amount due will be sent to you, due upon receipt.
